The brand-new Hanse 360 is the latest addition to Hanse’s range, blending innovative design with advanced sailing technology. Developed in collaboration with Berret-Racoupeau, this 11.3-metre (37 ft) yacht is the most compact model in the new Hanse series replacing successful Hanse 388 and Hanse 348 models. With spacious two- or three-cabin layout options, it provides the perfect balance of comfort, easy handling, and impressive performance for family cruising or competitive sailing.
Performance and Efficiency in One Package
The Hanse 360 features a hydrodynamic design, negative bow, and signature Hanse chines, ensuring both stability and performance. The slim waterline, combined with the wide hull shape, enhances speed and maximizes interior space. Like its larger sibling, the Hanse 460, the 360 promises competitive sailing performance, with the potential to achieve podium results in club racing.
Equipped with a self-tacking jib system and all lines led back to the helm station, the yacht is optimized for single-handed sailing. Optional features like a bowsprit with an integrated anchor arm, electric winches, and a performance rig with a square head mainsail further enhance the yacht’s capabilities. The rig’s sail area totals 66 square metres upwind and 169 square metres downwind, ensuring excellent power on the water.
Spacious and Customizable Interior
The Hanse 360 is highly versatile, with up to 12 possible layout configurations. The yacht offers the option of two or three cabins, with the owner’s cabin available with an ensuite bathroom—a rare feature in yachts of this size. The aft section can be tailored with two cabins or one cabin and a large storage area, ideal for longer voyages.
The saloon, designed to seat up to eight people, is centered around a versatile dining table, available in two sizes. The L-shaped galley comes with optional extra fridges for up to 192 litres of cooling capacity. Thanks to the placement of up to 16 opening hatches and windows, the interior is bathed in natural light and has excellent ventilation.
Modern Deck and Rig Features
The deck is designed for ease of use, with all lines and winches conveniently managed from the helm station. A secondary winch on the coaming allows efficient trimming of headsails like the Code Zero or Gennaker. The cockpit also includes an easily accessible storage compartment behind the helm for safety equipment such as a liferaft.
Optional upgrades include a BBQ on the swimming platform and a teak cockpit table with an integrated stainless-steel refrigerator. These features, combined with the overall spacious layout, make the Hanse 360 equally suited for weekend getaways or extended bluewater cruising.
Engine Options and Sustainability
The Hanse 360 offers engine options to suit every need. Choose between traditional 29hp or 39hp diesel saildrives or opt for the environmentally friendly 25kW electric system, available with 18kWh or 36kWh batteries. For those prioritizing sustainability, high-performance SPS sails made from recycled materials are also available.
